Mewtwo

Plan this partner in PokéBonk

This analysis describes the Mewtwo League partner and its evolution line, not necessarily the current form alone.

Mewtwo is our best overall pick: general damage, area and movement bonuses support a focused Psychic kit. A recurring shield, critical-hit stuns and a large immobilizing Ultimate combine offense with useful breathing room.

Trade-off: Critical stuns need critical hits, and the late recruitment requirement makes it a goal rather than a first-save recommendation.

Passive: Genome

Ultimate progression: Psystrike

Curated kit: Psycho Cut (Lv. 1) · Psystrike (Lv. 2) · Prismatic Laser (Lv. 4) · Psycho Boost (Lv. 7)

Later moves become eligible offers; they are not automatically equipped.

How to unlock: Recruit 60 League members, capture Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, and win Rocky Desert on Hard.

Complete the applicable challenges, then finish the capture step; a reference entry does not unlock a partner.

League analysis and kit: v0.8.25, checked October 23, 2026. Individual unlock checklists and linked builds carry their own source dates.
